If you are a true gun fanatic then you most likely love attention to detail and can appreciate the time and effort it takes to create a beautiful gun which involves fine craftsmanship to get a complete product. If you happen to be one of those people that are very picky about the small details then you will love the work of Alexander Perfiliev of Russia who has been creating miniature gun replicas for over 30 years now.
It’s not until you have a closer look at the work when you realize that Alexander is serious about his creations. For example, the Mosin Rifle (pictured below) is a complicated weapon and it took him one year to get it right. He didn’t have access to fancy equipment or even a power drill. He started off by only using a primitive hand brace back in 1970.
Most of the models are made of steel and he has over 50 different miniature weapons. All of the creations have acting mechanisms and if you had tiny bullets, the guns actually would fire off the rounds. Most of Alexander’s models can be seen in person in the central hall of an art salon in Zabaikalye. For more details, check out English Russia or LiveJournal.
Whoever made those must have some very skilled hands.
