The Aston Martin DBS supercar’s production is finally coming to an end soon but before production ceases, Aston Martin has decided to make a final farewell edition of the car called the DBS Ultimate Edition.
The limited edition Aston Martin DBS Ultimate will be powered by the standard V12 engine that produces 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Aston Martin didn’t provide us with price or how many of these limited edition cars will be produced but we’ve heard unconfirmed reports of 100 units.
The DBS Ultimate Edition will be offered in a coupe and Volante (convertible) formats and will be equipped with a choice of 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions. The cars will be offered in three color choices: Silver Fox, Quantum Silver, and Carbon Black II. The cars will come with carbon fiber mirrors, rear diffuser, and taillight strips, special wheels, smoked taillights, blacked out grill, and a choice of red, yellow, or black brake calipers.
The interior of the Aston Martin DBS Ultimate will come with black leather with red or silver thread stitching; the leather seats and door panels will feature diamond-quilted stitching and the headliner will feature Alcantara with stitching. Each of the limited edition cars will come with special badges and a plaque with the car’s individual production number.
Update – May 14, 2012: Aston Martin has confirmed that only 100 DBS Ultimate Edition cars will be produced and will be priced at $287,576 for the coupe and $302,576 for the convertible.
