2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout Motorcycles

Today is a special day here at Unfinished Man’s worldwide headquarters, because on this day we’re writing about a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which doesn’t happen too often.  Today is the exception and not the rule, so I’ll keep my opinion about their products to myself and don’t expect too many more HD related posts in the near future.

The famous American motorcycle company started way back in the early 1900’s when the world had no colors and everything was black and white.  Back in 1901, William Harley was designing small engines to put on pedal bicycles and later joined forces with his friend, Arthur Davidson, to produce motorcycles.  They started working out of a proper shop in Milwaukee in 1903 and that’s when the brand was born.  Fun fact, Harley-Davidson still uses the same technology from 1903 in all their modern bikes to this day 😉 (Sorry, I couldn’t resist).

2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout

To celebrate the company’s 110th anniversary, Harley-Davidson has just released the 2013 CVO Breakout motorcycle, the CVO stands for “Custom Vehicle Operation”.  One of the anniversary bikes comes with a gold-colored tank, which… stands out, I guess…

The Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout is based on a Softail and is powered by a 1,803cc Twin Cam 110B engine that produces 112 pound-feet of torque, not sure how much horsepower it produces.  The bike comes with hand polished fenders and fuel tank and the handle bars, headlight cover, and the front suspension is all chrome plated.

The 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout bikes are limited to 1,900 units worldwide with a price tag of $26,499.

  1. This reply is only to inform the writer of this article that most people who love motorcycles can appreciate HD’s styling and classic good looks. To say that they haven’t changed their bikes only proves your ignorance to their products. Infact HD has gone through many changes and continually improves on what was already a exemplary motorcycle. Maybe you should stick to metric bikes that were intended to compete with Harley Davidson and leave the man bikes to those of us with balls.
