Ladies and gentlemen, here’s the all-new 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, based on the new C-Class sedan. The coupe is looking a lot like its bigger brother, the S-Class Coupe. The new C Coupe will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The new C-Sedan looks like a baby S-Sedan, and the C Coupe is like a baby S Coupe. When I see the new C/S sedan, I have to do a double take to make sure which one it is, so I’m sure I’ll have the same issue with the C Coupe. Which is either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on which side of the fence you sit on.
The C-Class Coupe has grown in size, it’s 4” longer overall, with a 3” longer wheelbase, and is 1.6” wider than the previous generation C Coupe; the coupe is also 0.6” lower than the sedan, giving it a more substantial road presence. The C-Class Coupe will be offered with the engines options offered on the sedan.
