2017 Nissan GT-R

The Nissan GT-R is a fan favorite sports car, especially among the YouTube crowd who like to throw around statements like “The GT-R is faster than this” or “the GT-R can beat this car for half the price”… in pretty much every video of every sports/exotic car on YouTube.

There’s no denying the fact that the GT-R is a very fast car and can beat any car in it’s price range on a track. But it is not the prettiest looking car money can buy and the interior looks like it came out of any number of family sedans produced by Nissan. For 2017, Nissan has tried to make the GT-R look better (or fresher) and the interior has a more luxurious look to it. Since this is a performance car, Nissan has added a bit extra power to make it even faster.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8 liter V6 engine, producing 565 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 467 pound-feet of torque between 3,300 to 5,800 rpm, that’s an increase of 20 HP and 4 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The exterior gets minor changes, mainly in the front section, making the GT-R look more like its lesser Nissan siblings. The front air-intake are now features the “V-motion” grill and is a bit wider than before. There’s a new chin spoiler and larger side sills for better air flow. The interior looks to utilize a bit more soft-touch materials, with the overall look remaining the same.

No word on pricing yet.
