I don’t know why, but Nyan Cat is one of the few internet memes that brings me a sense of almost child-like glee. I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way either. Upon showing Nyan Cat to my extremely hung over, borderline alcohol poisoned friend, he immediately perked up and was once again able to move around under his own power. It’s almost like the Nyan Cat is a mythical healing creature, curing our ailments with it’s joyous meows and colorful rainbow trail.
Many of you probably thought that the Nyan Cat would forever be locked in the 2d realm of yesteryear, and I’m happy to tell you that Nyan has successfully made the transition to 3D! Never again will you be limited to experiencing this majestic animal on a 2D plane. Instead you can watch the cat sing it’s tune as it shuttles across a 3D scape, rendered completely in your browser. If you’re one of the fools still using Internet Explorer, do yourself a favor and upgrade. Nyan doesn’t ask much of you, and it’s a small price to pay to see a flying, brightly colored cat.
