I reviewed the previous generation Civic Type-R, which was based on the 10th generation Civic. I absolutely loved the previous Civic Type-R, I didn’t love looking at it so much, though.

The current generation Type R is based on the 11th generation Honda Civic, a car that’s quite impressive in standard form.

These seats are pretty amazing, they hold you tight in corners and are extremely comfortable for everyday use. A leather-wrapped steering wheel feels premium in your hands, it’s perfect for gripping tightly in corners and feels comfortable on long drives.

The rest of the interior is what you’d find in the latest regular Civic, the interior is pleasant and provides plenty of leg and headroom for all occupants. I’m 5′ 9″ tall and I found there to be more than enough room in all seats, there should be enough room for people 6″ and taller. Unlike the regular Civic, the rear seat can only fit two people.
