Wooden Noah Case for MacBook Laptops

I don’t own a MacBook or any Apple products but after seeing this beautiful case for the MacBook by Rainer Spehl, I’m almost ready to buy one.  Actually, a more practical thing would be to find a case that fits other laptops or wait for these guys to make one.

The wooden case is called the Noah Case and is handcrafted from solid oak to hold 13” to 17” MacBook laptops.  The case is lined with soft leather to protect your laptop and comes with brass hinges and a magnetic closing system.  It takes about 3 days to complete a case which consists of hand sanding and multiple stains.

The case is a collaboration with street-fashion brand Ucon from Berlin, Germany and is priced at €300 or about $405.  The price might seem a bit steep but it’s one of the best looking laptop cases I’ve seen, I wonder if it’ll be worth the time to build your own?

  1. Well, it’s expensive enough for the “Apple elite”. After all, they are willing to pay Apple’s exorbitant prices for the “prestige” of owning and Apple.
