The Land Rover Defender and the Mercedes G-Class (also known as G-Wagon or Geländewagen) are at the top of our list of tough off-road vehicles that we would love to have in our garage. A few months ago Bulgarian tuning firm, Vilner, worked their magic on the Defender and today they present us a tuned version of the Mercedes G-Wagon.
The Defender, in stock form, is a very bare-bones vehicle in terms of creature comforts, so the transformation on that vehicle was massive. The Mercedes G-Class, on the other hand, comes with a very luxurious interior but Vilner took its interior to the next level.
Vilner completely gutted the interior and replaced the entire interior surfaces with high quality beige leather and black Alcantara; the new material was applied to every single part of the interior, including the rear view mirror cover and the third brake light in the rear window. A new Ground Zero sound system was also placed in the rear.
Unlike the Defender, the Vilner tuned Mercedes G-Class didn’t get major exterior upgrades. The SUV got a new set of wheels and LED daytime running lights.
If I had to choose between the Vilner Defender and G-Class, I’d choose the Defender because the interior on the tuned version is on par with any luxury vehicle but the exterior is what stands it apart from anything on the road, it looks BAD ASS!
lmao this car is so sexy on the inside but the outsside is gonna use up a lot of ur gasss.. aint very aerodynamic
