Hybrid Lexus LF-LC Concept Coupe

I find most (all) Lexus cars to be quite boring looking, they’re incredibly quiet, luxurious, and well-built but they don’t give me goose bumps (maybe the LFA is an exception).  However, their new concept car, the Lexus LF-LC is something to get excited about; Toyota has been working on it for a year and a half, which leads me to believe there is a good chance it will make it into production.

Lexus hasn’t released much information on the LF-LC concept coupe but we do know it’ll make use of a hybrid drivetrain.  The car will be shown at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show and hopefully they’ll release more information.

The Lexus LF-LC concept was designed at the company’s California-based design studio and Toyota’s CEO, Akio Toyoda, asked for the “wow factor” in the design.  I think the designers gave the car the wow factor, I like the design with its long hood and swoopy curves; the production model will obviously be quite a bit different but I like the direction Lexus is going with the design.  Who knows, maybe Toyota will use this design for a future Supra model?  Fingers crossed.
