The Super Bowl is the biggest gaming event in the United States and a good number of people that watch the big game day aren’t even in it for the actual game but for the commercials. In 2011, 111 million viewers tuned in to watch the Super Bowl according to Nielson Co. With so many eyes on the screen, companies are willing to spend a ridiculous amount of money for 30 seconds of action.

  1. Yeah, it’s all about bang for buck during the most watched night on TV. I know you said you missed a few, but you missed the best one of them all – Clint Eastwood’s “Halftime”. That was the one to rule them all! It NEEDS to be in this post.

    • What’s so special about it? I looked it up on YouTube. It’s just an American Patriotic mumbo jumbo. Nothing remotely interesting about it IMO.

      • I agree, I thought it was supposed to be about cars?? I saw a comment on a forum, that made me laugh, it went something like this: “I’m a Ford guy but thanks to this commercial my next car is going to be a Chrysler”.
