The Range Rover Evoque has been quite a successful CUV for the British car maker, it has been flying off dealer lots like hot cakes and the British company wants to continue that success with offering more models in the Evoque range. They will be bringing a convertible Evoque to the Geneva Auto Show to see what kind of reaction it gets and then they’ll decide on making it into a production model.
We got our first glimpse of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible a couple of weeks ago on Top Gear when Jeremy Clarkson cut the roof off of a picture of the 3-door model and today we get to see real pictures of the Evoque convertible with these unofficial photos. Land Rover is calling this a concept but judging by the pictures, this thing looks production ready and will most likely be hitting the showroom floor at your nearest Land Rover dealership. If Nissan can sell a Murano convertible, what’s to stop Land Rover from selling a premium convertible CUV/SUV?
The Range Rover Evoque Convertible is based on the Evoque 3-door and will feature a cloth top with a glass rear window. If (when) the Evoque convertible goes into production, it’ll be powered by the same engines offered on the 3-door model.
