Omega puts a modern twist on its iconic Speedmaster watch line with the new Speedmaster Broad Arrow Co-Axial watch. I’m a huge fan of Omega watches, they are one of the better priced “luxury” watches. Seeing pictures of the new Speedy put a big smile on my face and a whole lot of drool on my keyboard.
I think the Speedmaster Broad Arrow looks hot with its black face (silver face is also available, black looks better imo) and the red highlights on its chrono hands. The honeycombed chronograph sub-dials look right at home, and to top it off, the Speedmaster is equipped with a soft looking black alligator leather strap. A metal bracelet is also available for an extra $100.
The Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow Co-Axial watch comes in a 44.3mm steel case, a bit on the bigger side in my opinion. At the heart of this watch is the COSC certified Omega co-axial caliber 3313 chronograph movement, which can be seen via sapphire see through case-back. On the front of the watch, the Speedmaster has a tachymeter on its bezel and sapphire crystal to showcase all of its beautiful features.
Price for the Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow Co-Axial is going to be around $6,000 for the leather strap version and $100 more for the metal bracelet version.
