Orient’s 60th Anniversary Watches – SDT0000

Orient-SDT00001S-Gold-Watch

To celebrate 60 years of watchmaking, Orient has released the SDT0000 series of watches.  The SDT0000 watches are designed based on some of the oldest Orient watches and pay homage to the company with “Orient 60th Anniversary Limited Edition” engraved on the back of the watches.

Orient-SDT00001S-engraved-case-back The watches have a simple vintage look to them and feature a domed crystal, just like the watches from the 1950’s and 1960’s.  The watches use the original Orient logo from the 1950’s, and come in two different cases, gold case (SDT00001S) and stainless steel case (SDT00002W).  The gold watch costs $600 and the silver one is priced at $480, these are pretty good prices for quality Japanese mechanical limited edition watches, however if you want a discount, use coupon code happy60 to get 50% off!!! I’m definitely thinking of picking up the gold one, I’m a big fan of Orient watches and have 8 of them in my household.

The watches come in 39mm cases and have genuine calf leather straps and feature a hacking hand-wound mechanical movement, a 40 hour power reserve indicator and date window at the three o’clock position.  The watches are limited to 3,000 pieces (1,500 in gold and 1,500 in silver).

Buy it: $600 & $480
