I have done a lot of car detailing in my time and I know a thing or two about cleaning, dirt, and grime. I’ve seen some terrible, terrible things to beautiful vehicles. And even our homes get filthy and every household has a slew of cleaning products tucked away in the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink, many of which are harsh chemicals and the fumes alone are potent enough to knock you out. Of course there are the Eco-friendly products but I think the Immerse-A-Clean Wand is probably one of the greener alternatives I’ve seen in a while.
The Immerse-A-Clean wand is developed by GenEon Technologies based out of Texas. This Industrial cleaning device is capable of turning regular tap water into an effective sanitizer and all-purpose cleaner using only electricity and a non-toxic catalyst. Kind of sounds too good to be true but it’s pretty awesome you can clean any surface with this. To get instant cleaning power, all you need is water whether it being in a bucket, jug, or even carpet extractor.
Simply submerge the Immerse-A-Clean wand into your container, add the catalyst, fill with tap water, turn the device on, and you have an effective cleaner/degreaser within minutes. You can also use the device without the catalyst providing you with ionic chemical-free cleaning. For sanitizing, the system creates a pH neutral cleaning solution providing the same germ-killing benefits of other cleaning products but without the harshness which may cause harm to surfaces, clothes, animals, or yourself.
The Immerse-A-Clean wand is expected to go on sale in early 2014 and priced between $995 and $2,100. It might be on the expensive side for your average consumer but a worthwhile investment for large establishments such as restaurants, hotels, and of course cleaning companies.
