American outdoors apparel maker, Filson teamed up with American Expedition Vehicles, the company famous for turning Jeep Wranglers into trucks, to come up with the Filson edition AEV Brute. I must confess, I’ve never heard of Filson or AEV, I have seen AEV Brutes but didn’t know who made them.
Filson makes clothing for outdoor adventurers and the Jeep Wrangler is a tough off-roading vehicle, so the two companies are a perfect match for this collaboration.
The interior has been upgraded with Filson goodies like leather seats and dry finish tin cloth, and a set of Filson luggage. The Filson AEV Brute is powered by a 6.0 liter V8 engine that’s powerful enough to take you to and bring you back from some very secluded areas without any problems. Below is a list of the features on the AEV Brute.
- 61″ X 60″ Cored Composite Bed, Stamped Steel Cab Closeout, Double Cab Hardtop , Double Cab Rocker Guards, AEV Double Cab Rear Bumper
- AEV Water Pump Kit, AEV Under Mount Tire Carrier, AEV ProCal, AEV Jack Base, AEV Badging
- AEV Instrument Cluster, AEV Logo Headrest, AEV Serialized Build Plaque, AEV Premium Front Bumper, IPF 901 Off-Road Lights
- AEV Front Skid Plate, AEV Winch Mount, Warn 9.5cti Winch, AEV Heat Reduction Hood
- AEV 17″ Alloy Wheels, BFGoodrich 35″ Mud-Terrain Tires
The Filson edition AEV Brute is priced at $130,000.
