Vilner Tuned BMW 750i E38

The mid-90’s to 2001 BMW 7-Series (E38) is my favorite flagship sedan by BMW; the car had long straight lines and demanded respect, and it still does.  All the subsequent 7-Series lost that edge and class, in my opinion.  I don’t know about sales figures but I’m sure more of the E38 7-Series sedans were sold (as a percentage of the large luxury sedan market) than the models that followed it.  The E38 was even in The Transporter, as the main car driven by Jason Statham.  The movie made the car quite popular with the younger crowd, one of my friends bought a 2001 750 because of that movie.

I guess Vilner, a Bulgarian aftermarket car tuner, shares our passion for the E38 7-Series.  They’ve just released photos of their take on an E38 BMW 750i V12.

The Vilner tuned BMW 750i looks to be completely restored to new condition.  The exterior features smoked headlights and taillights, and large 5-spoke black wheels.  The interior has been completely redone with grey and black leather covering every inch of the car.  Piano black wood trim has been applied to the dashboard, door panel trim, and back of the front seats.  Alcantara has been applied to the headliner and parts of the seats.

I think this tuned E38 750i looks pretty slick, Vilner had a great car to work with and with its fresh paint and large wheels, this thing will turn heads even though the car has been out of production for over a decade.  Via: Vilner
