I’ve been a gamer since I was but a wee young lad. I love playing games. However, what I find even more interesting is learning about how games are actually made. What goes into the graphics, story, and even music?
Graphics and gameplay are usually the focus of developer diaries and behind the scenes videos, but today we get a rare glimpse into the making of the music of The Order: 1886. The video weighs in at just under 7 minutes, and features interviews with Jason Graves (Dead Space, Tomb Raider) and Austin Wintory (Journey) – the two composers developing the game’s incredible music.
If you’ve been wondering how they’ve come up with such an interesting orchestral sound, here’s your chance to find out.
So, what did you think of the music?
The Order: 1886 comes out on February 20th, 2015, for Playstation 4. Unfortunately this one is an exclusive, which means you’ll need a PS4 to play it.
You can order it on online for between $59.99 and $149.99 for the special edition of the game. The “premium edition” includes: 13-inch ‘Galahad vs Lycan’ Statue, Blackwater Vial with Chain, Art Book with hidden compartment, Collectable Steelbook, Collector’s Box, ‘Coat of Arms’ Stickers, Knight’s Arsenal DLC, Official Game Soundtrack with Bonus Tracks, and Unreleased Behind-The-Scenes Footage.
