Working on Unfinished Man means watching a lot of video game trailers. It’s tough work, but someone has to do it. If I didn’t vet them first, crappy ones would slip through, and then you would yell at me. You see, things often go sour when people don’t listen, and the British found that out the hard way back in 1773.
What you’re about to watch is a trailer showcasing Assassin’s Creed 3‘s version of The Boston Tea party. For our American readers out there, you probably know a lot more about this than I do, so I’ll spare you the history lesson. Needless to say, the patriots were not happy with the policies of the British empire at the time. No, they were so unhappy that they told the Britain to shove tea time right up its ass.
The Boston Tea Party – Fun Times for All?
Now, this trailer really didn’t show very much in-game footage, but I decided to share it with you anyway. Though it lacked climbing, acrobatics, and grizzly up close combat that we’ve come to expect from Assassin’s Creed 3, it still managed to weave an interesting story, and set the place for what will undoubtedly be a unique and interesting gameplay experience. The Boston Tea Party was a pivotal event in not only the history of the United States, but of the world as well. I’ll be interested to see both how they portrayed the actual events, and also what fictional creations they’ve decided to add in.

Edit: AC3 is now Available
Yes, it’s true… AC3 is now available in stores everywhere, or online for about $40 USD. Better than a poke in the face with a sharp uh… hidden blade, eh?
