If you’re into the Battlefield franchise of games, chances are good that you like blowing things up. Dice has just released a new Battlefield 3 trailer titled Fault Line Episode II: “Good effect on target”, and it’s awesome.
The trailer is features about 2 minutes of game-play from BF3’s single player campaign, including a very explosive ending, which I won’t spoil for you.
Destruction of Property
Games featuring campaigns in the middle are a dime a dozen, but what really excites me is the new Frostbite engine that Dice has developed for Battlefield 3. If you’ve played Bad Company 2, you’ve had a taste of it, and BF3 uses a substantially improved version. Frostbite 2 features improved environmental destruction, refined physics, quasi-realtime radiosity, and Morphological Anti-Aliasing (MLAA).
Dice is planning to release Battlefield 3 in the fall of 2011.
