Attending a huge, stadium concert is a thrilling experience for many, but getting a ticket for these concerts can sometimes be frustratingly difficult. This is especially true when it comes to concerts for such world-conquering bands as Judas Priest and Canadian rock band Rush.
Buying tickets from reputable online vendors is often the best approach, because you can buy tickets quickly and easily for a fairly reasonable price. But while the vendor helps a lot, but that’s only part of the story.
Buying Concert Tickets Without The Stress
So with that in mind, here are some more tips for buying concert tickets without the stress.
Focus On Online Presales
Avoid buying tickets on the day of the concert because doing so often takes a lot of time and can be an extremely stressful experience. Instead, focus on pre-sale tickets that allow you to book tickets to concerts before the tickets go on sale fully. These tickets will give you peace of mind and help you to prepare for the concert as opposed to fighting for tickets with hundreds of other fans.
Pre-sale tickets become available on various online platforms as soon as artists announce their respective concerts. Watch out for these announcements on the official websites or fan pages for these artists and then visit your preferred online ticket store for pre-sale tickets.
Use Simple Tricks When Buying Tickets
With multiple people eying the same tickets as you, someone is always going to miss out. Luckily there are some simple tricks to avoiding this. To start with, avoid purchasing tickets late at night because many websites undergo some kind of brief maintenance work at night, as well as being a particularly busy time for data servers. This maintenance work can often interfere with your ticket purchase and as such, you may miss tickets to major events like the Queen concert in Melbourne on 30 August 2014.
Another trick is to have yourself signed up to ticket services beforehand, allowing you to more quickly go through the process of purchasing tickets quickly. Even better if you subscribe to newsletters and can be made aware of ticket availability, reduced prices, and upcoming deals beforehand.
If you’re Desperate… There’s Always Scalping…
The famous last resort that people refer to when concert tickets have run out. Scalpers buy tickets from various sources, hold on to them and then sell them through various websites at a higher price than the original ticket. Scalping has a long, rich history, but it’s become rather shady over the years.
Unfortunately, many people become victims of illegitimate scalpers by buying fake tickets on these websites.
If you’re not willing to take the risk, then I suggest avoiding scalpers entirely. They’re an act of desperation, and that’s why it’s so important to buy your tickets early at a reputable vendor, whether it’s the aforementioned Ticketbis, or any other number of global and regional providers.

I agree that buying tickets at night might not be the best idea. This is usually the time when a lot of people are trying to buy their tickets too. Whenever I buy tickets to a busy concert, I try to buy them at three or four in the morning. Hopefully, by buying tickets on the off times, you can find the seats you want at a great rate.
