In an effort to save time and money, thousands of China based manufacturers have been cloning products from the rest of the world for decades now. Rarely are the products equal to the original in terms of quality and overall design. The first example I’ll show you is a clone of the Audi A4 known as the YEMA F-16. The F-16 is also used as a taxi and that particular model is dubbed as the E-Tax. The second model is the clone of an Infiniti EX known as the YEMA E-Series. And lastly, the VW Tiguan clone is dubbed as the YEMA T-Series
Lets take a quick look at a few pictures of the Audi A4 Avant and compare them to the YEMA F-16.
Here is the real Audi A4
Here is Audi A4’s long lost twin brother that was given up for adoption, the YEMA F-16. It’s “close” but no cigar. For the price difference, it might be a good deal. I don’t know what type of car safety features the F-16 has though. Drive at your own risk!
The front bumper, hood, and fenders are pretty bloody accurate. As for the wheel wells and fitment, not so much.
Here is the F-16 in the E-Taxi version for commercial use.
Up next on the list is the Infiniti EX. Have a look to see whether YEMA did a good job on this blatant knockoff.
The original Infiniti EX35
And of course, here is the YEMA E-Series Crossover.
The last vehicle on our list is the VW Tiguan. This crossover SUV is hideous in its original design as well as the clone variant.

After looking through these pictures, which model is the best replica and which is the worst? I’d say that YEMA did a pretty good job on the Infiniti and VW.
