Dark Knight Rises: Diesel Batman & Bane Watches

Fans of The Dark Knight Rises have two reasons to celebrate; Diesel has just released information on a pair of watches inspired by Batman and Bane from the latest Batman movie.  Unfortunately, you won’t be able to wear the watches to see the movie in theaters because they won’t be available until November, besides, wearing movie themed clothes/watches etc. to see that movie is not as cool as many people think.

The two watches are based on Diesel’s SBA line, which stands for “Super Bad Ass”, a little on the cheesy side IMO.  The watches are said to be limited production and are priced at $325 each, although Diesel didn’t say how many will be produced.

The Diesel Batman watch is black, of course, and features a stealth black dial with black hands and grey hour markers and the batman logo at the 4 o’clock position.  The watch is attached to a textured black rubber strap and the case-back features an etched image of Batman and the bat symbol.

The Diesel Bane watch comes with a brushed metal case with a khaki dial and a brown riveted leather strap that looks just like the coat-thing Bane wears in the movie.  The dial has “Bane” written on it at the 4 o’clock position and the case-back features an etched image of Bane.

Both of the Diesel Dark Knight Rises watches come in rather large cases that measure 56.5 mm wide and 45.4 mm tall, I guess if a watch is called “Super Bad Ass” and has Batman and Bane on it, it has to be big.  The watches come in special boxes and are powered by a quartz movement with chronograph functions and are water resistant to 50 meters.
