Eidos just released this “Revenge” trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Adam Jensen learns that revenge is a dish that’s best served cold, much like the frozen mannequin-like facial expressions of the various NPCs we see throughout the video. But where the facial animations lack, the ambiance and world aesthetic more than make up for. You’ll see…. you’ll see.
Human Revolution “Revenge” Trailer
I really enjoyed watching some of the brutal mêlée oriented take-downs that Adam can pull off, such as stabbing people in the back with this pneumatic arm blades, or twirling them around with his spinning wrists. I’m guessing that for Adam, the bedroom possibilities are endless. Even more exciting is that we get to hear more awesome music by Michael McCann – a musician who has quickly become my all-time favorite game music producer of all time.
Michael McCann captured the essence of the original Deus Ex music expertly, while injecting it with a style and personality that are all his own. You could almost say that his music strikes a chord with me.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution arrives August 2011 for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
