One of my favorite quotes, originally credited to author Robert Byrne, is: the purpose of life is a life of purpose. I read this many years ago, and it continues to serve me well. On those days where I question why I train so hard… why I left the comfort of my 9-5 job managing a warehouse, to run a men’s lifestyle blog, Robert’s words help drive me. After all, we aren’t born with an instruction manual in our hands, and life is quite a riddle.
But Robert Byrne isn’t the only man that exemplifies this quality, this drive for a life of purpose. The legendary Don Julio, a man that rose from nothing to create one of the finest brands of tequila on the market, also lived a life of purpose. Don Julio’s purpose may have been to create the finest tequila possible through hard word and craftsmanship. For me, I’m happy to just inform, educate, and entertain my readers to the best of my ability, always striving to do just a little bit better. It’s different for everyone, and that’s why this concept is so beautiful.
