The Ferrari 458 Italia is the hottest car available in the marketplace today, in my not so humble opinion, and it just got a little hotter with the introduction of the all new Ferrari 458 Italia Spider.
What could be better than a sexy red Ferrari convertible? How about a first ever hard-top mid-engine car; unlike its predecessors which used soft cloth tops, the 458 Italia Spider uses a very cool hard-top system. Unlike most of the other hard-top convertible cars, the one on the 458 Italia Spider doesn’t fold, it simply flips backwards and rests on top of the trunk, under a very sexy looking cover. The 458 Italia Spider looks pretty good with the top up and is drop-dead gorgeous with it down. The only issue some might have with this hard-top system is the removal of the window that lets you look at the glorious V8 engine that pumps out 562 Italian stallions. The Ferrari 458 Italia Spider will be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011.
