We still have a couple of months remaining in this year but I think it’s safe to give the 2012 Dumbass of the Year Award to Mr. Bladimir Barreto! My mom taught me not to laugh at other peoples’ misery but I think this little “stunt” deserves a big laugh and maybe a bit of sympathy.
Bladimir Barreto, the 19 year old Palm Bay, Florida resident attempted to jump over an oncoming 80’s model Honda Accord to show his athletic skills to college football recruits. Well, you can imagine what happens when you run straight at a car speeding towards you, you can either be a hero or end up in the hospital with serious injuries. And judging by this post’s title, I’m sure you can predict the outcome. Check out the video below.
Bladimir Barreto was probably trying to mimic this jump by getting one of his brothers to drive the Honda Accord straight at him, at a pretty good speed, and get another brother to make a video of it (not the greatest quality). Well, two of the brothers succeeded at doing what they were supposed to do but poor Bladimir ended up in the hospital with some serious injuries, I guess 2 outta 3 ain’t bad.
Before you jump to the conclusion that I’m an A-Hole, I do feel bad for the kid but when you do stupid things like this, the outcome is almost a given and at that, I LOL. Kids, don’t try this at home (or anywhere else).
