Several days ago, Chad showed our readers the work of Victor Hertz – who modified popular company logos to convey what we really feel when we see these popular logos and brands. If you haven’t seen it already, I recommend checking it out. And while we are on the topic of advertising and logos, have a look below at some excellent examples of what major fast food companies want us to purchase and we end up receiving.
Below are a series of pictures comparing the advertised products and the actual product purchased in real life. But I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised since this sort of thing takes place all the time. A few examples will include the girls on MySpace with their famous MySpace Angles or girls on dating sites using pictures from 5-10 years ago. And of course, the dating section of Craigslist.
Ads vs Reality
Advertised Jack in the Box Tacos versus actual Tacos purchased:
Another Burger King Whopper versus reality:
Yo quiero Taco Bell vs No quiero that Taco (pardon my Spanglish):
McDonald’s Big Mac vs The real deal
