How do you make an Italian supercar faster? Hand it over to the Germans obviously. German tuner, Novitec Rosso, has a performance kit for the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider that consists of changes to the exhaust system, a software upgrade, and a carbon-fiber air box with improved air routing.
With these modifications and a lighter exhaust system (46 pounds lighter), the Novitec Rosso 458 Italia puts down 601hp compared to the stock 570hp the 4.5-liter V8 produces. The car also produces a maximum of 420 lb-ft of torque at 5,400 rpm while top speed is now 202mph.
Other improvements include a hydraulic suspension system allowing the car to be raised up to 40mm for safe passage over those annoying speed bumps. The car can also be lowered by 35mm from the stock height thanks to the adjustable sport springs.
Believe it or not, the Ferrari 458 can look prettier. The exterior changes include a two-piece front spoiler with modified air inlets, side sills, mirror caps, rear wing, and diffuser all made out of carbon fiber. The blacked out taillights with the carbon fiber finish is a nice extra touch. The car also now sits on 21-inch wheels up front and 22-inch at the back.
Custom leather upholstery and carbon fiber trim on the interior is also plentiful. Check out Novitec Rosso for more details.
