Sooner or later you find out the truth anyway, but it is very upsetting to waste time and efforts. Sometimes people just “forget” to mention information that might be important to you, like having kids or being married.

Well, from my perspective, as a guy. Even with internet dating, women still expect men to at least, have a college degree, or equivalent, to make 6 figures, or the potential to make 6 figures, and be on the way to paying off a mortgage, on a house. Without any of those, men are generally sunk, in the dating/relationship world. Maybe I’m off base, but this is has been my observation, browsing many profiles, on a few dating sites.
