Graham London has created a stunning dive watch that comes in some very bright colors yet still looks tough. The watch is called the Chronofighter ProDrive Professional and is limited to 200 pieces (take note Breitling, 200 pieces is a real “limited edition”).
The watch comes in three color combinations; blue strap with blue dial, black strap with black dial, and yellow strap with a black dial. The yellow one really caught my eye and I’m normally drawn to understated watches.
The Graham Chronofighter ProDrive Professional watch comes in a 45mm stainless steel case with a black PVD coated uni-directional rotating bezel. The watch comes with a patented left-hand start/stop/reset trigger next to the black PVD coated (or yellow on the yellow-strapped watch) screw-down crown. The lever is large to make it easier to operate the chronograph with thick diving gloves under water.
The dial features large indices for the hour markers and thick minute and hour hands; the second hand is bright yellow along with the hand on the chronograph sub-dial. There are two sub-dials, one for the minute counter for the chronograph and the other one has a rotating disc-like thing for the seconds (I’m assuming). The dial is covered with AR coated sapphire crystal and the screw-down case-back has a shark engraved on it.
The watch is powered by a Graham Caliber G1734 automatic movement, based on the ETA Valjoux 7750, and comes with a 48 hour power reserve. The Graham Chronofighter ProDrive Professional watch is water resistant to 600 meters (2,000 feet) and is priced at 13,500 Swiss Francs (or about $14,400 US).
I like this watch but I can’t purchase it because the name of the watch reminds me of my terrible, terrible ex-boss who went by the name of Graeme.
hehe, I think I know who you’re talking about 😉
