As we go about our lives, we form a web of complex relationships. In the world of Hitman: Absolution, Agent 47 can exploit these to the fullest. It will be your job as the player to discover the connections between people, and how they could help you complete your missions – through force, coercion, or more clandestine means.
This is the second to last Hitman promotional video from IO Interactive, as the full game arrives in just a few short weeks. In it, we’re shown the living, breathing world that Agent 47 inhabits, and what appears to be the incredible amount of choice we’ll have to make decisions, and carry out our contracts in whatever way we see fit. No weapon is off limits… not even toilet plungers.
Agent 47 – The Killer… the Techno DJ
Ever since I saw the Hitman fan video of Agent 47 dressing up in completely ridiculous disguises – like donuts, turkeys, and a big breasted woman – I can’t help but laugh at the close up shots of his face in the actual game. Why? Because he has this hilarious, perpetual frowning face which was exaggerated in the previously mentioned fan video, and to great effect. The two things will forever be linked in my mind, and I think that notion will be made all the more concrete when Absolution hits store shelves, and I’m finally… finally able to dress Agent 47 as a woman. At least, that’s what the rumors are.
Absolution Gettin’ Real
As I mentioned earlier, we’re just a few short weeks away now. On November 20th, 2012 Now, you’ll have a chance to slip on your black leather gloves, and use them to for something other than mastur… er, keeping your hands warm. They’ll be the perfect compliment to your digital persona. After all, there’s no one cooler than a person who plays video games dressed as the characters they’re playing in the game.
