The Infiniti Q60 Concept, formerly known as the G37 Coupe, will make its official debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week. In the mean time, the Japanese automaker has just released this teaser image of the coupe, which is looking pretty nice in my humble opinion.
The Q60 or G37 Coupe has been around since the introduction of the original G sedan, I’ve always been a big fan of the sedans (in fact, I have the Q50 S in my driveway), but never liked the coupe versions. But the new coupe looks quite attractive, with a very sporty design that was missing in the previous coupes. Although dubbed a concept, I’m pretty sure most of the design elements will stay in the production model.
The design of the Q60 Concept seems to be inspired by the current Q50 sedan and the Q80 Inspiration Concept. Currently we only have this one picture to look at, but I do expect the interior of the production Q60 to be similar to the Q50 and it will probably by powered by the same 3.7 liter V6 engine powering the Q50, which produces 328 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The Coupe might get a bit of a bump in the horsepower department.
Stay tuned for more information and pictures.
