Chrysler’s SUV branch, Jeep, has been quite successful with their offerings, Jeeps have been a big money maker for this Italian-American company. Their top of the line luxury SUV is the Grand Cherokee, which is a pretty capable off-roading vehicle, but Jeep has decided to offer a special “more off-roadable” version of the GC, called the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk.
The Jeep Grand Cherookee Trailhawk has just made an online appearance, before it’s official debut at the New York Auto Show. The Trailhawk features an air-suspension for longer suspension travel, giving the Grand Cherokee 11 inches of ground clearance in the highest setting. The Trailhawk also comes with a removable front fascia, which helps with approach and departure angles. The Grand Cherokee Trailhawk comes with 18″ wheels on off-road tires and is missing the LED daytime running lights featured on other GC models.
The interior sees minor upgrades, with black leather and grey suede seats and red stitching. The interior also features gunmetal and piano black trim.
