I’ve wanted to buy a pocket watch for quite some time now but can’t seem to find one that has a vintage look to it, at a decent price. I might have to do a 180° turn and go for something totally futuristic like the Kisai Rogue Touch LCD Pocket Watches.
The limited edition pocket watches are a futuristic take on the traditional time telling devices with a hybrid LED/LCD interface. The touch screen LCD display is always on to show the time while the LED light can be turned on at the touch of your finger. The watches feature dual time zones, an alarm, date function, and animation.
At first glance the watch face looks quite confusing and it’s pretty hard to tell what time it is but after watching the video below, it seems quite simple, although it may take some time for you to be able to tell time the moment you look at the pocket watch. The outer ring on the dial consists of 12 blocks which represent the hours and inside that ring is another ring that consists of 60 smaller blocks which represent the minutes. There are two more rings towards the center of the dial which show the second time zone.
The Kisai Rogue Touch LCD Pocket Watches look pretty cool, on the outside they look like traditional pocket watches and on the inside they look completely futuristic and alien. The pocket watches come in four different dial colors and come with the traditional pocket watch chains. They are priced at $169, available at Tokyo Flash Japan.
This watch is awesome. I believe that it would take a bit of getting used to reading it to make sure that you had the right time. But after you learned how and got used to it, it would be a piece of cake. Where are these available to purchase?
