TAG Heuer has teamed up with Oracle Team USA for the 34th America’s Cup boat race and is introducing two limited edition watches. The watches are the TAG Heuer Aquaracer 500M Caliber 16 Chronograph 44 and the Aquaracer 500M Caliber 5 43. The watches come with a hint of red, black, and white on the hands, pushers, and watch face – these three colors are the official colors of Oracle Team USA.
The Aquaracer 500M Caliber 16 Chronograph watch comes in a 44 mm brushed steel case and is water resistant to 500 meters with a helium valve. The dial features a “Team USA” logo and has three sub-dials for the chronograph. The watch is powered by an automatic movement and comes with a 42 hour power reserve. The watch features a black rubber rotating bezel and a black rubber strap.
The Aquaracer 500M Caliber 5 comes in a 43 mm brushed steel case with a black rotating bezel and a brushed steel bracelet. This version is also water resistant to 500 meters with a helium valve. The dial features a “Defender” logo with over-sized hour markers at the 12 and 6 o’clock position and the date window is at the 9 o’clock position. The Caliber 5 watch is powered by an automatic movement with a 38 hour power reserve.
