Lockout, the action packed sci-fi thriller starring Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace is hitting theatres soon, and I’m damn excited to go see it. If you’re thinking that the film sounds familiar, you’re right. Lockout is also known as MS ONE: Maximum Security. One of the titles is for the North American release, and the other is for overseas. Which one is which, though? I have no idea.
Now, if you haven’t heard of the film before, and am wondering what the hell I’m talking about, Lockout is essentially Guy Pearce being a total bad-ass in space. The government sends him to an orbital prison to save the presidents daughter, and all hell breaks loose. Watch the trailer and you’ll understand.

If you’ve seen the other trailer, you’ll probably agree that the tone of this clip is very different. Gone is the focus on comedy, and instead we get a far more serious vibe. I find it interesting to see such different aspects of the film, and I hope that the final product is cohesive. I’m really looking forward to listening to Snow (Guy Pearce) talk shit for a few hours while things are exploding.
