Lotus, known for their lightweight sports cars, used to be a big name in racing and they may become a winning racing squad again with their new F1 Lotus team (formerly known as Renault F1). The focus of this post, however, is not Lotus automobiles but rather the Lotus Originals Heritage racing leather jacket.
The limited edition retro racing leather jacket is very stylish and comes in British racing green or classic chestnut brown colors. The jackets are made out of soft leather and only 48 pieces will be produced, the number 48 corresponds to 1948, the year the British company was founded. I think 48 is too small of a number for a jacket, maybe for a limited edition car it would make sense, 1948 pieces would make more sense and give a few more people the opportunity to buy one and have a lower price.
The Lotus racing leather jackets come with two racing stripes on the left sleeve, British flags on the right sleeve, and a classic Lotus patch on the front. The jackets carry a hefty price tag of $1,436 each and can be ordered online.
