You might have heard about the recent domination of the Mercedes F1 team in the FIA Formula 1 racing series. Not only did the team win the drivers’ and manufacturer’s championship in 2014, the team absolutely demolished the competition. Out of the 19 races this season, Mercedes won 16 of them and had at least one of their cars on the podium in the other three races.
To celebrate this historic season, the German car maker is offering limited edition Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG Championship Edition cars. The cars have been designed by Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg; the black with gold highlights is Lewis’ championship winning car and the white with silver highlights is Nico’s second place finishing car. I don’t think the cars’ exterior color finishes have anything to do with the driver’s skin color ;).
Only 19 of these limited edition cars will be produced, one for each of the participating circuits in the 2014 Formula 1 season. No word on prices yet.
