Do you remember the first time you went camping? For me, it wasn’t until I was an adult. I finally bought a tent (a terrible one, I wrote about it,) organized a trip with my friends, and…. it rained. It rained and rained and yet somehow I still enjoyed it. The fresh air, the beautiful mountain landscapes… the bite of the icy lake water on my skin. Glorious!
Yes, if it’s been a while since you’ve been camping, I encourage you to seize what little summer you have left and strike out into the woods. If you need some inspiration, look no further than this beautiful collection of photos by Oleg Grigoryev. If these photos of the Fann Mountains don’t get you pumped to go on an adventure, then I don’t know what will.

We start our journey at Big Allo Lake (3150m) pictured above, and continue on from there to Muddy Lake (3600m). Prepared to be dazzled and amazed.

I’ve included only a handful of Oleg’s photos, and encourage you to view the entire collection on Oleg’s website. He’s a talented photographer, and the images I’ve shown you just scratch the surface of his body of work.
