There are so many new technological advances every day and it feels like there are about just as many new gadgets released. With so many to choose from it’s definitely hard to know what’s worth it and what’s not, and it’s easy to be swayed by Shiny-Object-Syndrome. We all experience it, but we’re here to tell you today the top five gadgets that can actually improve your lifestyle and are actually really cool ideas.
GoPro Hero4
GoPros are absolutely nothing new, but they’re a really awesome concept. If you haven’t heard of them before, GoPro is a line of action cameras that are made especially for extreme sports. At the better part of $280, the GoPro Hero4 is quite a lot of money, but it’s smaller, lighter and has better camera quality. It’s definitely worth the money.
Bamboo Spark Smart Notebook
Ok, hear me out, before you say it’s just a pen. Usually pens that are built for digitally recording what you write require special paper, but this is a smart notebook! You can write on the folio and it will record it digitally for your reference later. For people who take tons of notes, this is awesome, especially for people like me who are constantly losing the various sheets of paper they’re writing on. If you ask me, $160 is a small price to pay for such a handy gadget.
Polaroid Snap Instant
No these are not just for women. The reason these are so cool is because they’re the perfect combination of old-school polaroids and modern-day photography. You can print photos in normal colors, black and white, or vintage sepia, and with or without borders. These are really fun and also useful, plus they really are a fun flashback to the good old times of photography. At around $100, they’re way cheaper than most cameras.
Rif6 Cube
At $240, this little cube is a little expensive, but has really neat features that otherwise, I’m not sure you’d be able to achieve without spending some big bucks. This little thing allows you to project videos or photos from your smartphone to a 120” display. You can view Netflix, videos, games, pictures and more and all you need is this little cube. That’s pretty cool if you ask me. Available at Amazon for $239.99.
A Drone
Any drone, depending on you price point, can be really fun and provide hours of amusement, as well as some practical purposes as well. You can take awesome video and photos of your area, and you can even make some money off it as well if you’re clever and careful.
These five gadgets aren’t always cheap, but are definitely worth their money and have some inherent value, rather than shiny objects that don’t provide much use.
