It’s no secret that dating is no easy task and sometimes the hardest thing to do on a date is to think of question to ask to keep the conversation going. We all dread those moments where neither person has anything to say and you sit there in awkward silence. Sometimes it’s good to have some back up questions just in case the conversation lulls. They don’t need to be in depth and they don’t need to be too personal, but they’re a good starting point to make sure that no date will ever enter the awkward silence.

As you can see, there are dozens of questions you can ask on a date to keep it going, and some of these questions could turn into whole conversations of their own. Make a note of a few, and the next time you’re on a date and feel a lull coming, be sure to break out the list. Just maybe don’t bring the actual list with you, they might think that’s weird.
