About a month ago I wrote about the PowerAll Power Bank which is a device that will not only give your vehicle battery a boost but also your portable devices as well as a flashlight feature. A tool like that is very useful but another very common and annoying incident it can not fix is a flat tire. Only once in my life, I’ve had to pull over to the side of the road and put a spare tire on my car.
I’m actually kind of glad I got to experience that as annoying as it may have been. It’s one of those things that is bound to happen eventually and needs to be experienced by every driver whether male or female. And now that I’ve experienced it, I’m totally okay with never having to change a tire again or if I do, I’d rather have this handy ResQ Pro Plus with me.
Sometimes getting a flat tire doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll end up with a huge bill. If it’s a small puncture, you can patch it up at a tire shop for approximately $25. But if the puncture happens to be large or you took a chunk out of the tire, then you’ll end up having to replace the tire. But in the case of the ResQ Pro Plus, let’s hope we have a small puncture that it can fix.
To fix a flat tire, you simply attach the ResQ Pro Plus to the tire valve and it will pump sealant into the tire to seal the hole and inflate the tire at the same time. If the hole is too large, you’ll know because the sealant will simply ooze out rather than sealing the hole. It’s also possible to inflate without using any sealant. The entire device is powered by the car’s battery via the 12v outlet and it also has a built-in operating light in case you happen to be stuck on the side of the road in the middle of the night. The ResQ Pro Plus also comes with its very own tire pressure gauge so you’re able to track the progress and if you happen to over inflate, the deflate button will come in handy.
If you happen to be lucky and there are no flat tires, the device also comes with adapters so that you can inflate things such as inflatable toys, bicycle tires, or even balls for sports.
As long as the puncture in the tires is no larger than 6mm, you’ll be able to seal the tire with this device and make it up to a 125 miles at a speed no greater than 50mph. So yeah, it’s unfortunately a temporary fix and you will eventually need to put a proper patch on the tire. The ResQ Pro Plus is available for $82 at Amazon.
