With adjustable seat height and foot rest, this Signet high chair is ergonomic and very comfortable for babies and kids of all ages. The Signet is recommended for ages 6 months and up since the seat does not recline; babies will need to be able to sit on their own, but 6 months is also the recommended age for starting solid foods, so that works out well. The footrest is a very nice feature of this seat – having their feet dangling can be uncomfortable for children, so a footrest definitely a plus.
This highchair also features a removable five-point harness strap to keep babies seated securely and safely. The strap is easy to attach and easy to remove, and the buckle is simple to operate. The Complete model, an upgrade from the Signet Essential chair, comes with a removable tray with a dishwasher safe plastic cover, a wraparound guard, and a crotch bar. With the tray attached, the chair acts as a traditional highchair; with the tray removed, the chair can be pushed right up to the table so your baby or toddler can join the rest of the family for meals; and with the guard, harness strap and crotch bar removed, the Signet becomes a big-kid chair. Setting it up
The Signet Complete does require assembly, but once put together it is very sturdy and durable. The smooth finish is easy to wipe clean, and the removable tray cover is very easy to clean, either on the seat or in the dishwasher. As with any wooden furniture assembled with bolts, the Signet Complete may require tightening from time-to-time. This is to be expected, and only ensures the extended life of this chair, but you’ll want to remember to hold onto the included Allen wrench.

Converting the seat out of highchair mode is also a simple task with the included Allen wrench. You will simply remove the tray, five-point harness strap, guard and crotch bar and the seat is ready for bigger kids and young adults.
Pros
This highchair has some really great features, but the biggest draw has to be its versatility. The fact that the Signet Complete easily converts from a highchair to an attractive regular chair, combined with its quality and durability, will make this chair an excellent piece of furniture to last in your home for many years to come. Another favorite feature is that the tray can be hung from the back of the seat for storage.
Cons
One drawback to this seat is that the assembly instructions are not very clear. Once you get it together, though, it’s a pretty great chair. Another issue is that the plastic tray cover is a really tight fit. This is good in a way, because your baby or toddler is not going to be able to knock the cover off, but it also makes it difficult for adults to remove, especially when it’s smeared in food.

There is a cushion for the seat portion as well as the back rest. These soft and comfortable cushions are machine washable, making them very practical.
