El Diablo Jeep: Starwood Motors’ Custom Jeep Wrangler

A couple of days ago, we wrote about the Filson edition AEV Brute, a special edition Jeep Wrangler-based truck.  Today we bring you yet another tough and capable Jeep Wrangler, the Starwood Motors Wrangler El Diablo.  Starwood Motors is based in Dallas, Texas, and sells new and used vehicles; the used vehicles are fully reconditioned to like-new condition.  But we’re not here to talk about that part of their business; their other arm is the customization of Jeep Wranglers.

Starwood currently has three custom Jeeps: Full Metal Jacket, Adventure, and the El Diablo.  All three of these customized Jeep Wranglers are powered by 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engines, producing 285 horsepower, and mated to 5-speed automatic transmissions.

The El Diablo is one sweet-looking Jeep with its matte black Kevlar paint and a red stripe on the hood and front fender.  And, of course, the big tires, jacked-up suspension, and Hella lights all add to the badassness of this Wrangler.

The conversion from Wrangler to El Diablo includes new fenders, a 4” Skyjacker lift kit, detachable anti say bar, steering stabilizers, an adjustable track bar, a new drive shaft, and 11 Hella floodlights placed throughout the front end of the vehicle.  These are just a few of the mechanical/visual upgrades; for a complete list, check out their website.

The interior has also been upgraded with black leather seats, red inserts, and contrasting stitches.  The audio system has been upgraded to a Kenwood system, and the company has placed a 1,000 Watt subwoofer in the back.  There is a new touchscreen navigation system, a DVD player, steering-mounted radio controls, Sirius radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and a rear camera.

For added coolness/toughness, the Starwood Motors El Diablo comes with Safari-style doors and stock metal doors.
