The Weapons of Max Payne 3 video series from Rockstar feature short, informative video clips showcasing the wide range of firepower we’ll have access to as we travel the mean streets of Brazil. Max Payne 3 is just around the corner, and though I enjoy being surprised the first time I play the game, it’s fun to see the various weapons in action.
Today’s video clip features the Mini-30 Rifle, which Rockstar claims is built like a tank, and features incredible stopping power. Use it with a scope for distanced sneak attacks, or get in close for more personal wet-work.
Max Payne 3 – Mini-30 Rifle in Action
Though not specifically related to this video, it seems that Max is a lot more agile this time around. His dives and sweeps were a fantastic means of dispatching enemies in the previous games, but the way he moves around now just seems a lot more… fluid, and even life-like. It’s obvious that Rockstar has put a lot of effort into making his movements and animations look slick, and though many would consider this a minor detail, or secondary to gameplay, it really adds to the overall experience.
Max Payne 3 arrives May 15th, 2012 for PC, Xbox360, and PS3.
