On my daily commute, I always see jackass drivers doing stupid things and every time I wish I could slam their car into the side of the concrete barriers on the highway or give them four flat tires by simply thinking the thought. Yeah, I’m kind of mean like that but Vancouver drivers are really, really terrible. Unfortunately, I haven’t perfected my psychokinesis/telekinesis skills yet but I can always pretend that I can use my mind to influence a physical object thanks to the Mind Controlled Puzlebox Orbit. That’s right, you can fly an object just by thinking about it. Kind of cool right?
It’s not so simple though, you’ll still need a little bit of help from an app you have to download for your iOS or Android device. Your smart device will act as a control panel that is linked to a headband via a Bluetooth connection. With this, you will be able to make this “aircraft” fly through the air using the power of your brainwaves. You can use your smart device to adjust the throttle, yaw, pitch, control the sensitivity of concentration, and filter the background electromagnetic interference.
With the included headband and earlobe clip, electrical activity produced by your brain is measured and very similar to an EEG used in the medical field. When you relax and concentrate, an infrared transmitter connected to your smart device’s audio port sends a wireless signal to the craft, which triggers the propellers into action as you use the control panel to actually control where the flight path will lead. So it’s not true mind control since you can only use your mind to get the craft off the ground but not control the direction and altitude. But it’s still pretty neat that you can control whether it stays in the air or comes crashing down. It’s also a good way to practice your focusing and concentration skills
Unfortunately, simply thinking about the Mind Controlled Puzlebox Orbit won’t be enough for it to arrive to your home. You’ll have to cough up $229.95 at Amazon.
