Getting married is an exciting time and you have so many things to think about when it comes to the wedding. From the venue of the ceremony and the reception to the food and drink and flowers and guest list it can feel really overwhelming. One aspect of the wedding that sometimes falls squarely on the bride is the wedding registry. There are so may different places to register and usually the things will include kitchenware and the occasional large item or decoration. This is all useful, but sometimes it would be nice to have stuff on the wedding registry that the men can enjoy as well.
These are a few ideas of what you can suggest to your bride to put on your registry that will benefit both of you, but is something you’d be excited to have in your home together.
Stainless Steel Ice Bucket and Tongs
An ice bucket and tongs is super useful when you’re having cocktail parties, dinner parties or just friends or family over. However, rather than get something dull, get a sleek stainless steel ice bucket with matching stainless steel tongs. They don’t run super expensive and they really can jazz up a place.
Whiskey Glasses And/Or Stones
Your bride will probably be looking to get different kinds of glasses from regular drink glasses to wine glasses. She may not consider whiskey glasses and they’re pretty awesome. If you’re a whiskey man, be sure to bring up the glasses to add to the registry. Additionally, you could add in some cool whiskey stones.
Espresso Machine
If you’re not into coffee, you could look at a fancy teapot or infuser, but an espresso machine is something she’d probably enjoy as well but you would also get tons of joy and use out of. There are so many different kinds out there to choose from of all prices, so if you think you’ve got friends and family who would splurge for one for your big day, add it to the list.
Electronics
Don’t be afraid to put electronics on your registry. Whether it be some kind of speakers, video sharing technology or video making, as long as it’s not too crazy, it’s a great idea to add.
Copper Cocktail Shaker
Nothing looks as cool as a copper cocktail shaker (even better when you’re making Moscow Mules to put into your copper mugs). She’ll get use out of this too but the way it looks will be all for you and you’ll get tons of enjoyment out of it.
There are so many small things you can add to your wedding registry that you’ll get enjoyment out of too. Don’t just give all the responsibility to your fiancée; while she’ll probably choose some good stuff, you shouldn’t miss out as well.
