I’ve only written about shoelaces a few times over the past however many years, and after a moment of reflection, I realized that I really shouldn’t be surprised. Shoelaces are one of those things that we take for granted.
We put our shoes on, tie the laces, and away we go. It’s only when something goes wrong with them, such as the laces breaking, that we pay attention to them again.
This is rather unfortunate, as shoelaces are an incredibly underappreciated way to add a little style to an outfit. Thankfully I’m not the only person that feels this way.
I’ve been testing some handsome new laces from Whiskers for the past few days, and so far I’m pretty impressed. While there’s only so much a person can say about shoelaces, they’re obviously very durable, and the slim metal aglets are an excellent touch. There’s just the right amount of stretch to the laces too.
So if you’re looking for an inexpensive way to inject some color and style into your wardrobe, look no further than Whiskers shoelaces.
A pack of 5 works out to around $59.96, and I guarantee they’ll look a whole lot better than the paracord shoelaces I made a few years ago. Yeah… I know. What was I thinking?
