Let’s face facts: drones aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. New applications for quadcopters are cropping up all the time, each more nifty than the last. Is there a cause you feel truly passionate about, such as endangered species? Because drones can fly where humans can’t, they can record videos of poachers and others who would do harm to wildlife. For example, rangers at a Kenyan wildlife reserve in Africa were working with drones in 2014 to catch poachers in the act. Assuming the government lifts the ban on UAVs, drones might find their way to 23 national parks in Kenya.

Are you a farmer? Real estate agent? Architect? Work in another field where utilizing drones is a great thing? Quadcopters make taking crop inventory or checking the status of an in-progress building simple. They add something special to a real estate agent’s virtual tour of a house, as they can capture fabulous shots of the property and surrounding area.
